Photography adds visual impact to our communication pieces, but it can also be overused and become meaningless white-space filler. Know when and how to use images to ensure they support our message and don't just add visual clutter.
We have three types of photography: people photography, industry photography, and product vignette.
People photography
People photography should capture professionals in authentic and engaging moments. The photos should look natural, like you took a snapshot of a person’s day, not staged or overly corporate.
Our people photography should reflect a diverse, inclusive range of individuals in both age, ethnicity, and gender, highlighting our global reach and inclusive work culture.

Industry photography
Industry photography focuses on our company’s position within the broader market and the sectors we serve. This imagery should reflect our expertise, leadership, and innovation within the specific industries we target.

Product vignette
Product vignettes showcase our product on devices. The product shots need to clearly showcase the Anaplan platform. The backgrounds of these images need to feel natural and warm without distracting from the product shot.

Photography guidelines
Every image used needs to feel like it comes from the same photographer. Whether you are using people, industry, or product vignettes, the style should always remain the same.
To help with consistency, we edit the photos using a consistent filter. Get access to the Photoshop file here.
For photography, always use a corner radius of 12 px.

Choose imagery that has warm tones. If there is an orange element within the photograph, that is a plus.

Avoid using staged or overly forced poses. People in our photographs should look natural, like you took a snapshot of their day.

Do not distort images.

For product vingnette’s do not use outdated product shots.

Avoid using low resolution images.

Do not overly edit photographs. Stick to the provided Photoshop file when editing photos.
